What is it?
The EB-1A is a green card for people with national or international recognition in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics. It doesn't require a job offer or an employer: the person can file their own petition (I-140).
To qualify, you need to meet at least 3 of the 10 criteria defined by USCIS, or have a major internationally recognized award.
